WINNERS AGAIN…ISLAND WINS WORLD TRAVEL AWARD FOR THE SECOND YEAR

For the second consecutive year, Island has achieved international recognition by winning the World Travel Awards (WTA) for 2012 as “Jamaica's Leading Car Hire”. Managing Director, Michael Campbell and Director of Operations & Reservations, Ms. Dulcie Moody, proudly accepted the award on the company’s behalf at the recent presentation ceremony held at the Beaches Resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

According to Ms. Moody, “This is a significant achievement for us for, in order to win, we had to secure the votes of very experienced industry professionals, clients and other business associates in all major markets in which we operate. We could not have received their support unless they were satisfied that we were indeed qualified to stake a valid claim to the designation as being the leading car rental company in Jamaica. It is also a very rewarding feeling knowing that we were up against some operators in Jamaica whose brands originate internationally.”

She further  commended the staff for maintaining the company  standards and expressed appreciation to all members  who, in carrying out their specialized functions, contribute to the overall performance and reputation of Island so much so that, once again, the company was being recognized internationally
